Holmen history activity booklets
These activity booklets were created for the second graders in the School District of Holmen. They include photos of historic photos with prompts for children to create drawings and add more information about Holmen’s history. For example, on the page with the picture of the McGilvery Ferry, children are invited to draw a picture of what they think travelers took along on their journey. These would make great gifts for youngsters and family as a learning exercise. They are available at the Holmen Public Library for $5. (At the library, ask for Ruth Scholze).
