Our Mission...
The Holmen Area Historical Society was organized in 1994 with the mission of preserving and promoting the history of the Holmen area. We meet this objective each month by gathering to share stories and learn more about historical events, people, artifacts and more. Our members organize annual events, such as antique appraisal fairs, barn dances, old-fashioned movie nights, picnics, old-time baseball games, and tours. We also offer educational programming to school groups. Our long-term goal is to educate the community about the history of the area through permanent exhibits.
